I'm going to watch it again. I deleted my comment on Hell of Wheels. The first two seasons are good but after that it does downhill and by the 5th season I couldn't take it anymore. The 5th season of Hell on Wheels is some of the worst tv ever made.

I was really into Yellowjackets but then I came to my senses and realized that the show was just stupid. I didn't like how the girls turned into killers and started enjoying it. I felt really bad about Mari. Shauna was so evil that I became a Mari fan and then they killed Mari in the most brutal way possible to make the wilderness happy. If you buy into all of that junk, then it worked because Nat made contact with civilization right after that. Nat is a tragic character. She goes thru hell and then ends up as Juliette Lewis. I wanted a good outcome for her not substance abuse and murder. I hope they cancel the series. It's at a point where they could end it. The girls made contact and are going to be rescued but they lost their humanity so it doesn't matter. The adult storyline is so bad that I don't care what happens to them in the present day.

It looks like my next show will be Deadwood on Max. After that, I can watch Succession again. I've heard some great things about Deadwood.

Season 5 of Hell on Wheels was so bad that I have to completely re-evaluate my rating. It's now one star. I enjoyed parts of Hell on Wheels and the first two seasons were fun to watch but after that the show went downhill and self destructed in the 5th season.

If you haven't watched it already, I highly recommend Nonnas. Includes Vince Vaughn and is based on a true story.

I agree, Nonnas was good. I would also recommend Straw.

I'm in the middle of watching The Residence, which has eight episodes, and am enjoying that, too.

Straw sounds interesting. I'm going to start that tomorrow. I'm in bed for most of the day now so there's not much to do other than binge watch tv shows. I started 1883 last night and finished it this evening. I'm probably in the minority but I hated it. Sam Elliott and the gypsy woman were good but everything else sucked especially Elsa's monologues. The ending really upset me. I won't go into it because it would include spoilers. This was the first Taylor Sheridan show that I didn't like.

Ok, I'm definitely signing up for Max. The Pitt sounds like my kind of show, I want to see Succession again, and I'd like to check out Deadwood.

Both Nonnas and Straw are movies that are both just under two hours each. I liked both; my husband felt both had a slow spot in the middle but watched them none the less.

Straw is on my list, yes..

We liked The Residence, it was quite unusual though, so I'm sure not everyone would like it.

I finished The Residence earlier and liked that it wrapped up all the facts and had a ending that did not leave the viewer wondering what happened.

I like both kinds of shows - the ones where you sit back and enjoy it and the ones where you take notes. The thing I hate is when a series starts off good and then in the middle of the season gets really stupid but you've already spent 5 hours watching in it so you keep on going hoping that it will get better but it never does.

I watched both movies today and they were very good. Taraji P. Henson was fantastic in Straw. I watched Godless a few days ago and it was also very good. I couldn't get into Animal Kingdom and Tires was awful. Actually, awful is too nice. I was hoping for a funny show about working in a tire store but instead I got a guy waving a gun around and a bunch of homophobic jokes that weren't even remotely funny. I don't understand why this show was ever put on the air. I'm all for cutting edge humor but this isn't it. Netflix should be embarrassed for having this trash on.

Straw made me cry. There's nothing like being kicked when you're down. It doesn't excuse doing something that you know is wrong but it's a horrible feeling to have the world against you. Taraji P. Henson was amazing. I could really feel her pain.
