Still the best deal assuming you have either a Chase or Amex credit card. They have a $20CB offer.
- Activate the offer
- Go here https://www.fidelity.com/accounts...x-discount for 30% off
- You can get TT Deluxe+State for $32 after the $20CB
So if Sams and Costco are selling for $45 "including a $10 in product credit" then the hope is that Amazon charges $45 for a bundle that includes a $10 gift card, so effectively $35 for the Turbotax product in itself?

Unfortunately that Fidelity link for me only goes to an offer for 25% off their online help tax prep, not the retail product download.
That's what they're trying to steer you to. Go to the top menu, choose "do it yourself" then "doing taxes with desktop software." I also only have a 25% offer, but it does work on desktop following those steps.

Ha, thanks. It's almost as if they don't really want you to find the DIY options. That brings it down to $32.50 for Deluxe+State with the Chase $20 off $40 deal. Think I'll hold off for a bit and see if prices improve.

That is EXACTLY what they want. And I don't think they really want people using the desktop version either, but they also don't want to just cede that market to HRB.
