For those wondering, the Ride 17 is a really good shoe for $140. It's an awesome shoe for $35 plus shipping. It's actually a lot closer to being the natural successor to the Triumph 21 than the Triumph 22 is, which was why some called the Ride 17 the Triumph 21.5. Think of it as an almost-max-cushion shoe that's still capable of some faster runs.

The Ride 17 was my sole running shoe for a few months, and it's definitely an all-arounder suited to that purpose. And now, even after I've bought the Superblast 2 and Mach 6, I still like wear my Ride 17s for many easier/longer days.
