It felt comfortable to me and my teen son when trying it out in store. (We're both 6'ish and 220lb ish.)
Was able to apply the $20 bonus when you spend $50+ offer. As I understand it I'll get a $20 voucher to spend during the month of February, must be used in one transaction. I'll probably pick up some ink.
Got it home. Not too many parts. Instructions are decent. Screws mostly color coded.
It seems the engineers intentionally designed the soft plastic frame to attach to the cushion bottom under some tension? Or its construction is slightly off. Here's what I mean…
It was very important to assemble in the order given. And very important not to tighten any bolts more than maybe 20% at first. The directions say to go hand tight but if you bottom out the screws "hand tight" as you go, you probably won't be able to get the remaining pieces to align with their holes. So just get them started plus a few more turns.
Having two people helped. One person had to apply pressure to twist and press to get things aligned while the other started the screws.
In the end, after everything was buttoned down, the chair seems very stable and is very comfortable! At this price I seriously thought about getting myself one and/or my daughter.
So I'm not sure if the design is simply off slightly, or, they did that intentionally to introduce tension for a solid feel, but if you have patience for assembly it's a nice end result!

This one is OK, but:
- the padding seat gets low after a while
- not as great for taller people like the Hyken
- arm rests on this are thinner and harder vs Hyken has nice fatter arm rests
I like the Hyken better in terms of comfort of the years. I put a blanket or towel over the back and seat just to increase its longevity and cushiness. The mesh is comfy, but again, I like to increase lifespan and am a bit OCD about cleanliness.
