Split it in the app. When you go to pay there's two options at the top. The first says "Full Bill" and is highlighted in blue. You want to select "Split Bill". It'll add a box below it saying bill portion and you type in the pre-coupon total, $50 in this case.

No, sadly.

I typically will split the bill with myself though, first paying $50 using the coupon and $25 from my balance, and then the rest of the bill on a second pass with my expiring cash back.

If i wanted to eat at an inkind restaurant with a bunch of people. Can i have me and 2 friends buy 5 gift cards each and load it onto one account and pay a bill that would potentially be $1500 total? Would the restaurant accept a large amount like that from inKind credit or can you only use $100 at a time each time you visit a restaurant?
I've never seen an upper limit. Closed 2 ~$500 tabs in the last week via inKind with no issue.

I've been using inkind for a couple years and I'm not too confident than it will last much longer... Because I live in a smaller city, it's easy to notice how the number of participating restaurants here has decreased over the past several months. I can only imagine that's happening elsewhere too.

This is a great deal if your city still has a good variety of participating restaurants, which is no longer my case.
In a smaller city, I could see that. I live in Austin where inKind is based, and the opposite is true here. Restaurants keep getting added. Also, the business model is weird where inKind is the investor in a lot of these restaurants and paying for your bill pays them back. It seems like they're in very deep at this point and I'm less worried about them disappearing anytime soon.

If I bought the Costco gift card and my total bill comes out to $60. And I have a joining coupon off 25 off of 50. Can I simply apply that coupon for 25 off and pay the remaining $35 with my inkind gift card balance that I bought from Costco?

Correct, the 25 coupon would apply, then you could pay with the gift card for the rest of balance minus the tip which must be on a credit or debit card

First time purchasing this deal. Can the voucher be used towards a happy hour or a special menu? Does it work as a regular gift card?

I know the Cash Back expiring is pretty new, but does buying this gift card and adding it to your Cash balance extend the expiration of your Cash Back balance?

Here is what they say:
Quote :
Extensions Earning, spending, or purchasing inKind Cash auto-extends expiration to the end of 2 months.
But I wasn't sure if they meant you had to purchase inKind Cash through them to extend the expiration.
