PF and other foot injuries are REAL.
Invest in good shoes if you're a runner or planning to become one.
There are plenty of options like hoka, brooks, NB and ascis etc etc

I started running a few years ago and started in my Adidas "running" shoes that I was wearing everyday. Everything was fine until like 2 months in and then that's when my body went to crap. Foot issues, hip issues, knee issue and I couldn't figure it out. Bought a pair of Asics, then some more pairs of Asics, then 2 pairs of Brooks and a pair of On's (this is all over a 3 year period) and haven't had an issue since. Running shoes (& gear, I wear compression knee pads just for extra support) make a world of difference. Since my initial injuries I have logged over 1500 miles running in proper shoes and I'm still going strong today. Invest in proper running shoes if you can, your body will thank you!
This brand is "Better" then Walmart. But that bar is extremely low. And the normal pricing of these things is are like $20. We're not talking $120 shoes at $70. It's $20 shoes at $13. Same saving percentage sure. But the Dollar amount saved is way different.
Avia had it's day back in the 90's with decent shoes. But they've been bought and sold so many times that even the company that bought Reebok owns them as a brand.

They are elastic around where you put your foot in rather than having a tongue, but also have laces. I don't think you could just step into them though.
