I just bought the "300 load" box (might be 150 sheets?) of Fisroa brand from Woot, still available there for $8. Just came today, haven't used them yet, but they look like whatever my mom uses, which work great. They are perforated so you can easily use half sheets for small loads, or 1, 1.5, or whatever you need. I have no idea how using messy powder that gets everywhere could be easier than that.
