bought this under the last deal to use as a curl bar stand. Works great for that and is pretty solid when assembled.
That's probably the perfect use case for this, despite it being called a "squat rack". This thing seems a flimsy for squat usage if you're a young buck trying to follow a progressive overload routine.
edit: Disregard; found a 550lb capacity 2-piece set at $70 but ultimately decided against it because a sane person would probably want a proper rack or something a little more secure if you're lifting upwards of 300.

Put jb weld on the treads when puting it together then spray paint it with a good exterior pant while the new items paint is aleady perfectly clean and preped.
I made fun of this in the prior deal thread, but now we're downsizing our home gym and it suddenly makes sense -- fwiw, I don't squat much anymore, but for lighter bench work (say, up to 225) and shoulders, etc, it seems fine to me. A couple owners in the other thread made a good case for it, especially if short on space.
I just wish it had proper Oly plate holders for stability, that's not an expensive request. I can't imagine there are many people left using 1" plates. Maybe those old vinyl ones filled with sand?
Feels like buying a new piece of electronics and it doesn't even have USB-A, it has a serial port...

FYI my friend has this and it's not sturdy at all. The pegs that hold the bar bent easily when he hit it.

Ordered one of these, might use it outside as a curl bar rack as someone else suggested
I'd get more if they were $20
