I wonder the same. I can confirm that as of my last statement I'm only getting 4% on Costco gas...

I can confirm. There a note a the bottom of the reward page that said, " As of January 19, 2025, earn 5% cash back rewards on Costco gas and 4% cash back on other eligible gas and EV charging purchases for the first $7,000 combined spend per year...."

However, this card was my go to when they still had the extended warranty. Without that, this has been relegated to just non-electronic purchases at Costco
