-2022 Monitor but build dates will be much newer
-Matches the lowest I have seen
-G70D just dropped. Has the newer Samsung design language. I predict it will $450 in the coming months.
-Typing this comment on this exact model. This is a good performing multi purpose (productivity, gaming, multimedia)
I have this monitor. Pretty solid, and is kind of more a hybrid smart tv/monitor, albeit without speakers -- comes with a remote, has built in apps, etc.
I have this monitor, got it back in March of 2024. I love this monitor. I have had no issues with it. I do high refresh rate gaming mainly from a 3090. I don't use any of the advanced menu features like Samsung gaming hub or anything like that. I basically use it as a "dumb" monitor and it has always worked great (as does the remote). Solid deal overall.

Good deal, but shit monitor. I've had nothing but problems with mine. They're going back.
The TV interface is incredibly disruptive and the menus are not at all intuitive. Press the wrong button on the remote and you're clicking through tedious menus trying to get back to the PC screen.
HDR is hot garbage. (More on this in a second, though this is certainly not news.)
Screens would randomly go half-dark, half-normal. Only fixable with a cable pull or restart.
I often got random blinks - screen would go dark for a second, then come back. No rhyme or reason.
If my PC went into hibernation, 6 times out of 10 I'd have to hard-reset, because the monitors would throw a "cable not detected" or similar error.
On the other 4 times, 3 of them would result in fuzzy, washed-out text. Ironically, the only way to fix that (short of a cable pull or restart) was to turn HDR on, then back off.

too big while pc gaming .
1440p oled vs 4k ips.
Or buy once cry once, and splurge on an oled 4k.
