Everyday price and good price would be $9 to $10 each.

Tear off the cardboard sides of the Elegoo spool and mount it on on Bambu spool. I sometimes need a tiny spacer to prevent pinching if there is a gap.
The Amazon listing has a product video showing how to do it.

This is the easiest solution and use it on all my Elegoo Spools. Quick print and works well https://makerworld.com/en/models/...eId-202971

I recently used some of this PLA through my AnyCubic Vyper and it prints really well.

how do the cardboard spools fare in a Bambu AMS? Seems like it would not unroll as smoothly and get jammed up?

The cardboard works perfectly fine most of the time. The cardboard particles the rolls generate aren't good for the internals of the AMS. You can print your own spools and transfer the filament from the cardboard to a spool in about 1 minute after you do it a couple times. I use ELEGOO almost exclusively because of the price and have NO issues with my P1S and 2 AMS setups.

I ran like 5 spools before someone told me it was bad. I think it's more a longevity issue than anything else.

I may eventually learn to respool mainly for spools that don't fit, but it's an option for cardboard.

on makerworld i just print spool adapters for it theres one for like every brand. basically a plastic ring/cover around it. it does increase the circumference of the spool which could hit the top of the AMS lid. i printed an AMS lid riser to help with that. kinda a pain in the butt workaround but it works and mitigates damage to your AMS.

I use this brand all the time on my AMS. NO it will not roll well. I always transfer to plastic spools. The chance of the cardboard warping is very high. Most are already damaged from shipping.

You can print then plastic covers that go around the edge of the spools. Easy fix

How do you transfer yours? I printed a hand cranking spool roller and honestly it doesn't seem like it rolls up well. Maybe I have too high expectations for the filament to roll up tightly and evenly.

Print out the flat adapter and it will fit, no need for the riser. This is the way.

Sounds like a lot of work to respool... More like a "filament kit". I'll pay a couple more bucks for filament that I don't have to print a bunch of stuff and take a lot of time to get it where I can use it.

but if using ams lite, there is no extra effort.
