Probably everyone realizes that after the year is up, you will be paying 35.88 a month for the service. That's not the problem. The problem is:

You will also be signed up for about 39 bucks a month in other programs. The trial on these expires after either 2 or 3 months for 4 services. That means that, unless you are on the ball about cancelling these 5 services, you'll be paying 40 bucks a month for a bunch of stuff you may not need / want. On the QVC page, scroll down to the "important details" and there you will see 4 other plans, auto-billed after either 2 or 3 months, totallng 39/month.

none of that crap interests me, except maybe audiobooks. and not enough to pay for it.
You have to manually sign up for those free trials. You just get a flyer/card with codes. If you don't sign up, there are no automatic charges.

Agree, and most people just buy a new cheap bundled phone with another year of service. I can't remember when I last paid per month.
This is about the cheapest you can get with no commitments.

None of this is true. After the year is up, so is your service. You either have no service, or need a pick a plan. That is, unless you enabled auto refill for some reason. All of those other things you are talking about are offers. You can sign up for them if you like, or throw the "voucher" in the garbage. I choose to throw them in the garbage.

The only one that says "IF you sign up" is the first one , Lifetime movie club, at 3.99 a month. I admit, I did miss that one. The other three appear to be automatic, unless I'm missing something.

None are automatic, all are "if" you sign up.
In all the many years I've bought bundled TF I've never signed up for anything, like the others I just throw that crap away.
