The unlock occurs 60 days after proper activation. The auto-response when texting UNLOCK to 611611 is currently experiencing a glitch—please ignore it:

It takes some configuring, but I've had good experiences with using Google Family to manage my kids devices.
1. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your permanent phone.
2. Activate your "donor" phone on the same account.
3. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your new, donor phone.
4. Go to support.tracfone.com and scroll down to and click "Chat with Support".
5. Populate the message template below with details of your donor phone and permanent phone and share with the CSR.
Hello, I'd like to move the data, minutes, text, and remaining days FROM my line TO my line .
currently has ### minutes, ### messages, #.# GB data, ### days left which I'd like added to my line which currently has ### minutes, #### messages, #.# GB data, ## days left.
My account email address is:
The end result should be minutes, messages, GB data, days left.

you have to SIGN UP for all these offers.
All you're doing is purchasing a TF from a retailer, it's not any different than buying from Best Buy, Amazon or Walmart (though they rarely include the year of service).
I highly recommend you do some research on how TF actually works before buying, your $35+ monthly service price makes no sense either.
Interesting to know. So if I have these two lines on their own different accounts for referrals, I can move them to my main account, then combine to my main number? Thanks!
Q2: The 1500 Min/1500 Text/1.5GB Data for 1-Year.
The data is monthly? or runs out once 1.5gb is used?
is it cheap & easy to add more data?
I just need transfer my numbers off Tmo for 60 days till I port back onto the new Tmo free phones I got for starting new service promotion. This seems to be the cheapest method to keeping my numbers, till i can port back to Tmo onto newer devices.

Read the details, yearly service not per month. Go to Tracfone website and read how it works - (or read any of the hundreds of past deals on SD, they're full of info).
I've got the two G Play phones now
Don't know anything about Tracfone, but the reddit tutorial you linked to in this thread makes it pretty clear I can activate phones to get service from them and essentially harvest them all together into one SIM
So I'll have a spare number running, which is cool
But I've got a number I like already. And it's got free spectrum service that has a good 8 months left on it. But say I want to come to Tracfone to use that service that'll be running essentially on a new number already for the remainder of the service. Can I?
In other words can I have my current phone number ported onto Tracfone and use those two years of service I've harvested? Or is that service stuck on that random phone number?

If I want to use a brand new number from Tracfone, is there a way to Stack 2-years of service onto 1 of the phones (instead of 2 phones with 1-year of service) and also activate both phones?
Such as:
1) Activate Moto #1 with new number on Tracfone.
2) Wait/Use for 60-days.
3) Activate Moto #2 + transfer number from Moto #1.
4) Follow previous recommendation of:
A. Go to support.tracfone.com and scroll down to and click "Chat with Support".
B. Populate the message template below with details of your donor phone and permanent phone and share with the CSR.
"Hello, I'd like to move the data, minutes, text, and remaining days FROM my line [Donor phone #] TO my line [Permanent phone #].
[Donor phone #] currently has ### minutes, ### messages, #.# GB data, ### days left which I'd like added to my [Permanent phone #] line which currently has ### minutes, #### messages, #.# GB data, ## days left.
My account email address is: [email address for account]"
Is this or something like this possible? Thank you!
