This is for existing users on flexible or unlimited plus plan. Phone comes unlocked and ready to be used with any carrier, just make sure not put the FI SIM in any other phone until the 120 day counter in FI account reaches 0.

How do I get this if I'm not a google FI user?
Previously some saw this "existing user" upfront discount offers 21 days after opening the account. In a recent thread https://slickdeals.net/f/18046998-s24-ultra-unlocked-l-google-fi-existing-customers-120-days-of-service-required-info-on-s25-ultra-preorder-599 some saw the discount 48 hours after opening but I believe they did not click on it to see if they are actually eligible. So if you are planning to get S25U you can do a gamble for $25 or so by opening an account now (use referral code for $60 credit) and see if you are able to order by the end of the preorder period. Note that even after the preorder period ends FI will still have a discount albeit $50 less o it might still end up being a good discount.

It's there even an option to pause only data?
Yes...you can do it on the phone itself. Turn off Mobile Data if you have the Fi SIM as the primary SIM. If you have it as a secondary eSIM, you can configure the phone not to failover to the secondary eSIM's mobile data.

The Jan 10th one might get it early Feb but if you have already ordered from the other account then no point in keeping it open.
The one I opened on Jan 10th used a $60 referral code...plus looks like a couple of folks used my referral code. My 4 months of Fi service would be free if I can get an S25U on that Fi account. The old Fi account I used is an old Fi account...which does not qualify to use referal codes for re-signing back onto Fi.

Yes. This is my setup. With the secondary. I wish Samsung gave you more control over toggling default sim for messages because I want to use Fi for that. But they lock it down on US phones in fealty to Verizon and ATT

I can sign up one of my family members to flexible plan with S25 deal of $200 OFF now and $599.99 credit over 24 months. Would this member be able to purchase the S25 Ultra for another family member? and they would only have to sign up for flexible plan for 120 days?

Honestly I didn't do anything! Just signed up for service under a referral on Jan 10

TBF, though, I cant actively see or activate that offer atm - speculating it's because of the referral. I'll likely suspend the service to lose the referral offer and see if it triggers the $750 I received a push notification on!
push notification on the google fi app itself? i guess i should keep that turned on even when my account is suspended. do you get pushed discounted device offers when your account is suspended?

appreciate the data point.

Can I pause the data through google fi service itself, or will that result in blowing up the offer? I'd like to use the google fi eSIM for talk/text and use a physical SIM for my data. I don't want to use any of google fi's (in my opinion, vastly overpriced) data.

I would not do any pausing whatsoever on the Google Fi app. Configure SIM behavior on the phone itself. Use the Google Fi eSIM as secondary SIM. When texting/calling you can choose which SIM to use. If you configured your phone not to failover to secondary SIM for data, then the phone will always use wifi or your primary SIM's data plan.

Yes, technically it should not affect the promo. Here are the terms about the service "Pausing, changing, or suspending the account will void the promotion.". I have not done this manually so I can't confirm but I recall some did it last year but hpham_53 might know about that more.

My bank blocked the charge. It switched to my paypal and I couldn't switch it back so I had to cancel the order. I reordered and the order date dropped to Feb. 7th now, and but still had just 650 amount. I was hoping for the bigger discount.

They are about to ship.

I know this is a bit off topic just figure the Fi experts are all here. refs are supposed to be maxed at $600 and I'm at $500, (I've had acct awhile). I argued with CSR that I should still be getting new ones but they are arguing that the top 3 that says $60 yet to come aren't factored into the $500. I think they are. So my question if anyone with a few referrals and had the yet to come knows whether the top total is inclusive or exclusive of those referrals.?

in other words do I have $500 or $680?

My credit card has been charged, which normally means my S25 Plus has shipped. Anyone got a delivery date?

Data point: I ordered a S25U 256GB black on Jan23. Said shipment between Feb-8-11
Yesterday, I got the notification that my CC was charged the $701.xx
Checked Fi website, status changed to PREPARING SHIPMENT, and "Delivers Feb 7th"
