S25: 299
S25+: 399

This is for existing users on flexible or unlimited plus plan. Phone comes unlocked and ready to be used with any carrier, just make sure not put the FI SIM in any other phone until the 120 day counter in FI account reaches 0.

How do I get this if I'm not a google FI user?
Previously some saw this "existing user" upfront discount offers 21 days after opening the account. In a recent thread https://slickdeals.net/f/18046998-s24-ultra-unlocked-l-google-fi-existing-customers-120-days-of-service-required-info-on-s25-ultra-preorder-599 some saw the discount 48 hours after opening but I believe they did not click on it to see if they are actually eligible. So if you are planning to get S25U you can do a gamble for $25 or so by opening an account now (use referral code for $60 credit) and see if you are able to order by the end of the preorder period. Note that even after the preorder period ends FI will still have a discount albeit $50 less o it might still end up being a good discount.

With a physical SIM you could factory reset and counter won't be affected. With eSIM I'm not sure, if the eSIM gets deleted during the process it might interfere with the promo so I'd look into that first. You can have multiple esims or physical SIM along with FI eSIM in that phone
And that is what I want to check if eSim can be deleted and still it doesn't affect counter. Worse case scenario, i can ask support .. and if they can't do much, return the phone..
if they say reactivate and counter works, I can always keep eSim and use other provider with physical sim.

Wanted to do all steps by keeping 24 hrs time window.. (just to be safe side Smilie )

UPDATE:
So, did factory reset and deleted fi eSim and started to use s25u with other service provider. It worked for other service provider. My counter is going down on fi saving with no issue.

I sold 512gb s24u for 740 on FB. It was not the best price but it's still $100 for upgrade without considering referral credits. Having done that for last two years I can mention couple of things for those who want to sell and upgrade.

1. FB marketplace has good reach and but many young people are using something else like OfferUp, mercury, reddit so post in those places for better reach.

2. Post the ad on Friday night instead of middle of the week. My ad in the middle of the week got less than 10 clicks while the Friday one got over 600.

3. Post it before the new version is released and confirm the sale. I did not do it this time and got a lower value.

4. It might take a couple of days but people are willing to pay good money for Ultra. So wait atleast the whole weekend and Monday after posting before accepting lower offer.

Hope this helps

Got an odd situation: Existing customer to Fi, ordering new S25+.

Once I ordered, the $600 off counter appeared at 120 days (it didn't count down, but it appeared). It shipped via Fedex. During the delivery, I got a notification in the app saying there was an issue and to contract them for a refund. I checked Fedex tracking...apparently some issue with the label, but Fedex fixed it and continued shipment.

But the $600 off counter disappeared in Fi. The phone delivered, and I start activating it. It works with the esim, I can make calls. But FI app is stuck on "Testing Fi Service" for hours, then "Can't connect to Fi". The $600 off counter still hasn't shown up yet.

Maybe this means I'm only paying $400 for a new phone, since the 120 day counter isn't showing up. Or maybe I'll be getting a $600 charge after 120 days.

Wondering if anyone's had this issue before...
Did you resolve the issue?

I am in a very similar situation.
Ordered, had problem with shipping and tracking page said to contact Google Fi for a refund, FedEx ended up shipping the phone anway, got the phone, activated, no timer countdown for over two days.

I got off chat with Google Fi regarding the missing 120 day countdown timer. They said I will not be charged for the other 650.
I am not sure if I should trust him or return the phone.

Anyone know if you have a credit balance on Fi and port out, if you decide to come back on the same Google account, will your credit balance still be there?

I've done this with closing an account and it works but not porting.

I never got the counter for days. In the end, I didn't want to take a chance on getting charged for $600 (had S25+), so I returned it.

I was thinking about keeping the service on for 120 days to prove that I did keep it on for that long. But I heard their customer service isn't the greatest, and didn't want to argue with them. So I played it safe and returned it.

If you intend on keeping it, I'd be curious to know if you were/weren't charged.

I honestly debating if I should keep it. I do have the chat transcript and case number as reference though I don't want to deal with argument hassle with them either.
Did you contact them at all? If so, what did they say?

yes, your credit will still be there in the account, I had credit in my account for 3-4 years, I reactivate my service last month and my credit was applied.

I bought another using a different Gmail account. This time an S25+ 256gb for $399. This was the account that initially didn't qualify cuz I had signed up using referral code. Had to wait 30 days for the referral code to be applied into my account, then the S25 phone deals showed up. Really like the S25+, too... and it's almost 50% cheaper than the Ultra.
