I'm not doing preoeder because don't know actual IMEI yet (just bought QVC ones) and the trade in people do match them up usually IIRC

Order the S25+ with tradein, pay in full now
Trade in my S23+ for the S25+, get $920 credit back on my account
Call to get the credit put back onto my cc
Wait 2 months and then unlock
Put the phone on Tmo
Profit
Got this right?
Not bad to go from the S23+ to the S25+ for $300 net.
Yup and if you wait until release and do it in store, the credit is applied at purchase so you only pay the difference up front and don't have to deal with sending in the trade in and waiting.
The trade in value for it on this deal is 710
Insane double dip and I'm here for it
I just tried plugging in the Moto G Play 23 for trade in value and it said "Sorry, your Motorola MOTO G PLAY 2023 is not eligible for trade-in"
Yes, two. I may get two s24 or just resell one of em
See my reply above for how you can get credit back. It won't be over 36 months if you just request it back to card as soon as it posts to your account
Also, if you just go in store to do it, there won't be a credit to post. You'll walk out having paid 799 minus trade in value shown plus fees and plan price etc
I plugged in to the Other network one and a random number and it accepts it as 710 total value
If you go in store with a clean new prepaid phone, should work

If you pay for the phone in full, you will get the full credit back to the original form of payment within a few weeks (they say less than 2 months, it's never taken that long for me). The phone is then fully unlocked and yours to do with as you please (including leaving Spectrum Mobile). I've never had to call customer service to get the credit, it has always been automatic.
If you choose monthly payments to purchase the S25+, then you will get the credit back as monthly credits over 36 months.
There's no catch here if you pay for the phone in full, and you follow their trade-in procedure and send the phone back within 30 days.

Yes
In fact, people traded in their s24 for s24+ using same deal. Just upgraded lines
Netted 200 or so credit for the upgrade

Not sure how thay would work with preorder, so ordered a pixel 9 xl and then later will add another line to preorder the s25 ultra. Got some iphones 13 ready
Traded in a moto g play 2024 for the pixel 9 (600 off + 10 TIV)
If they were going to block you I'd think they'd have to tell you up front. I've never seen any language in the fine print saying you can only take advantage of the deal so many times, etc. If you stay the minimum amount of time, you've satisfied the requirements.

I disagree for two reasons. It has been 3 or 4 years since we've seen a sub-$600 price with trade-in of 2 year old phone (for ultra, respectively lower for S25/S25+). Arguments about the phone's changes year to year are subjective, I'm strictly talking new/latest phone. Yes, non-discount price has been going up with inflation and technology advancements but the trade-in values are going up which means the post-trade values are making the final price the same as post-trade price of 4+ years ago. Even if they gave crappy buds like they used to, wouldn't make it a better deal, use the $50 credit towards Buds FE (or you didn't sign up?). Everything else in this world except for hate and complaining has gone up in price. This year for Samsung is a nice breath of fresh air of price fairness in a world of price unfairness.
