There are two types of spectrum stores. Mobile - typically have new phones on display with prices. These can do trade ins on the spot.
Cable - looks like an old sad cable company store. Some can give you phones but they don't process trades on the spot.

When Spectrum started offering Cellular all stores became all in one (Cable/Internet/Mobil).
Most Verizon MVNOs like Tracfone only require 1 month of service to unlock in 60 days.
Oh yeah, i forsure am just keeping the free line and i didnt have activation fees luckily
Planning to trade S25+ and get S25 Ultra in a week. Fingers crossed.

How did you get a refund of 120 for each one? I'm on my way to do it right now and from what I read it's a refund of about $10-$12 for each one and obviously tax could explain some of the difference state wise, but what else was different
Edit: nevermind you are right i forgot i got the plus with 512GB which is literally like 100-120 more

Tax: +$62
Activation Fee: +$20
MotoG Play 2023 trade-in = - $710
Total out the door = $171.99 at Spectrum
MotoG Play 2023 original cost = +$23
2 x months of service = $40
Total cost for new S25: $234

Edit: so my point is that if anyone is getting flagged or blocked its because you arent forking over the extra 20 dollars. Plus you all better pray that the phones dont have to have active service the whole time because my guy just said, two billing cycles or 90 days of service is needed and said there is no if ands or buts.
