Yea my first trade in I did in store the rep opened a free line and traded my s21 to s25. Then next day I came in to a different store asked if they had ultra and when they said yes I said I wanted to do a trade in. They confirmed which line, I only have 1 and asked what phone I wanted to trade in. That's when I pulled out the s25 and said I wanted to trade this in. He didn't ask any questions luckily. Just went to the back to grab the color and rang up the transaction. I think it all just depends on the rep/store. I would just try again.
