Trade in is tied to orders. You can order 2nd phone, it will not affect your 1st trade in

Is this only possible in store? I tried to do it on the same line online and it takes me to a page for me to pick a plan.

Online can do it too.
I upgraded from s25 to s25+ on 16th, dropped trader phone on 22nd. The phone arrived at Assurant today (2/27).
2. Upgraded from s25 + to s25 online on 2/22, phone will be delivered tomorrow

Are only the new customers/people with new Spectrum internet getting the fraud block?

Has anyone with 1+ years of Spectrum Internet gotten the block?

Maybe I'm missing something but when I try it takes me to a page where I had to pick a plan, which I assume means I'm adding a line.

Open a new line. Trade in the S25 to S25+. Yes, it is costinng more but it also avoids shipping.
Going to try that tomorrow. Going to a different store.

Got denied again for s25 to s25+ at Lewisville store in Dallas TX. Lady told me that system won't let them trade in s25. Asked to open a new line too and she said system won't allow s25 trade.

I had the similar issue in Tustin, CA. The manager rejected the trade in. Claimed I had to own it for 14 days. If not, it is a return and they would charge me a $50 restocking fee. I said I paid it off. They wouldn't budge. Wondering if I should try again, or do online and risk shipping the S25.

For the Tracfone sim issue, if you traded in store and got the full credit already, can they reverse it later when it gets to Assurance? I traded in, and took out the sim.

Where in Tustin is there a Spectrum store? I've had great success in the Fullerton location. Everyone else is making up their own rules.

I had an issue where I shipped a S25 and they said it was a S22 Ultra. I opened a ticket with Spectrum with no progress on that. I also emailed Assurant directly and they refused to help. I asked for pictures of the phone they received and they said they could not do that as the phone was not damaged. They told me either I accept the credit or receive the phone that they have. How did you ship your phone? I had mine shipped via UPS by handing it to the clerk. My package also was a week late, so something may have happened to the phone during that time.
I assume you took pictures of your IMEI number right?

That should tell you or anyone else what phone it is tied to

Heck, you can even check the IMEI number right now and print that and show them from one of the IMEI checking sites

I was talking to my friend, he went to the local store with his Samsung A16 5G, and tried to do this deal, and he wanted to pay off the S25 in full. He then asked them if the $718 credit will be credited back to his CC, and they told him no, it is given in each month for 36 months

he then said, that is basically a loan given to Spectrum with no interest, and the guy was like, that is why people just pay off the phone monthly

so I looked this up at the Spectrum site, and it showed this in the screen shot. There is no mention of doing a credit back to his CC every month for 36 months

I am thinking, since he walked in like 15 mins before closing, they were trying to get rid of him... lol

For those that did this, how long does it take to get the full credit back to the CC, I assume within 30 days?

How does unlocking work for the 2nd phone if you use the free line to upgrade to get another S25 from an old phone such as moto play G 2023 if you already have an S25 from the first trade? I want 2x S25 but don't need another line.

I also got blocked with in store trade in today, saying I already upgraded. I hope this is just for S25 this round. I opened a new line to trade in and plan to cancel it right after. Hope when flip 7 comes, this block will already be lifted

Yep! Assurant still wouldn't budge.

Anyone have sample tracking info for UPS once the trade in gets to Arlington? Curious on next steps and time frames. Thanks.
