Bought some of these, medium roast, a while back. They're so hard my motorized 18-speed grinder struggled to break them on every speed and courseness setting.

I think the price just dropped again, I got it for $20.64. This most likely means they have a near expiration date, haha. That's fine though, I could always contact Amazon for a refund if there are any issues.

Buying whole bean coffee from Amazon is a crapshoot. 8/10 times it's stale or about to turn.
11 oz. bags now? No.

$5.00/lb @ 15% off. I don't have any qualms about 8:00, but for me this isn't a "stock up and save" price for this coffee when I can walk into Costco and buy the jaguar coffee.

But they're coffee beans. How on earth could they "expire"?

Last time i bought this "pack of 6", i only got 1 bag. Contact amazon to see if they would send replacement but they only gave me refund. And they would not fix the listing error

They "expire" by no longer being fresh as in losing their flavor and aroma over time.

These are mass produced beans. Even if you bought them the day they were stocked in the store they are likely months out from being roasted. They aren't going to get significantly worse from that point onward sitting in their unopened bag. They already lost that freshness you get from a week or two old roast from a local coffee shop.

I guarantee you would not recognize a difference from a 2 month old and 6 month old bag of these, unopened.

It is most likely close dated if past is prologue on so many amazon food deals. Whoever gets this plz post the expiration date you get.

Is the taste closer to Lavazza Super Crema or San Francisco?

Untrue. I get 32oz. French Roast whole beans every month on S&S and it's never close to expiration. My December delivery exp. is Sept. 2025.
