Seems like this is going to be a major hassle as I see others have this same question. Probably going to ask Amazon for refunds.

EDIT: on chat support for 45 minutes now, not impressed...
EDIT 2: they are having to escalate. basically if it doesn't work the first time you are F'ed and likely need to get a refund from amazon.

I have a secondary phone with no SIM, and can use a GV number to make and receive calls using WiFi. Would putting in a data-only SIM give me the ability to make calls without WiFi?
I imported my number and it was squeaky clean for years. What gives? They selling our info?
Will update close to my activation date with any questions.
Same issue if you download app and then enter phone number. they never send a 6 digit code
