Thanks OP! If anyone has trouble figuring out where to apply the 25ORGAIN discount code like I was: on the checkout page click "change" in the payment info box where your credit card info is saved, it will open a page where you can choose a different credit card and/or enter the promo code
The problem with this protein is that it's plant based and plants absorb metals in the soil. Essentially, if you want to get the least amount of metal (can't believe we have to deal with this...), you should stick with whey protein. But then you're going down a different rabbit hole. Are you going to avoid veggies?

I'm not sure if the process of making protein powder causes lead to show up in concentrated amounts but if what I read about how plants extract lead from the soil is true, then we are just screwed anyway.

Maybe this company will do a better job of sourcing plants from farms with better soil, but I'm skeptical. I'm very concerned by all food in this country nowadays. The US doesn't seem to take this kind of stuff seriously. I mean it's definitely better than some developing country but we should have better health standards that force companies to provide clean food and more importantly, clean supplements. AFAIK, stuff like protein powder isn't heavily regulated.
Did they ever clear up that heavy metals issue?

I was skeptical of getting the price that low from the inital cost...but then I followed the exact steps from the instructions (I must have missed one last time) and it worked! Thanks OP!

@Eudaimaniac - i believe the heavy metals is related to the chocolate flavor only. There are similar high levels of heavy metals recently found in other chocolates (unrelated to protein powders) as well.

Im refraining from ordering because of this. This product is hardly ever this low. Coincidently, it drops multiple times in a short period of time. 🫣

Couldn't get the $2.90 coupon to show up, but I figure at $12 this is still pretty slick. Thanks!
