I'm not a gamer myself, but this system is significantly more powerful than a Raspberry Pi without a doubt. There is a Linux distro called Batocera.Linux (https://batocera.org/) that is supposedly a turn-key solution for turning mini pc's like this into gaming consoles. Besides that, this comes with an apparently legit copy of Win 11 Pro as part of the $130 price tag.

Anyway, if your goal is retro gaming, a Raspberry Pi is smaller and more energy-efficient for these types of tasks, but honestly, once you add in a case, a good power supply (RPi's are picky with respect to power...), and storage, it is probably at the same price or even more than this $130 machine. But if you are interested in more modern gaming or more powerful emulation, this system would be better and give you more flexibility for future upgrades.

Fyi check out Reddit minipc forum, some users mention that these effectively have ZERO warranty.

Just saying buyers might want to read up.

N150 is a minor bump-up from N100

Now a days no links from slickdeals work on my iPhone!
I guess your browser (Safari?) is blocking all the redirect/referral links. I'm using Firefox with uBlock Origin and all the link from SD are garbage.

I'm also getting a bunch of "doggie" pages. Using chrome browser from my pc/windows 10. I would say about 10% of the SD links are not pulling up.

2.5GBE or 1 GBE ? the Amazon description says both .
also, uses barrel plug. I bought a different n100 with a type c pd charger. easier to mount behind a TV.
This has a 2.5gbe intel 226 adapter.

How are these kind of things for home assistant? Getting tired of my clunky pi.
I have the n100 model and run home assistant, it runs very well. I ordered the n150 as a backup M am going to do some recovery testing when it arrives.

For those of you that do a full reinstall of Windows -- does Windows find all the drivers? When I reinstalled on a Beelink a year ago, I had devices that Windows could not find drivers for. So I had to download them from Beelink. And it was confusing because most of the instructions were in Chinese.

It kind of defeats the purpose of reinstalling.
I have the n100 model and did a reload of w11 pro. Not all of the drivers exist on the w11 iso, including the network I believe. I used a usb nic for the load if i remember correctly. You can download the drivers from the vendor or directly from the manufacturer of the hardware.

using chrome and adblock, I paused the SD site and they seem to be working now, I wish SD wouldn't mess with the links

For the N100 model, it appears to be a Realtek wifi/bluetooth setup. rtw89_8852be is what is being reported.

The Amazon price has gone up again, but based on the same pattern over the last few days, it will come down again later today or this evening.

Wait, if you are logged in and have Prime, you see the $130 price after coupon. I did not realize this was special pricing for Prime.

Does the 'Twin Lake' N150 do Intel QuickSync HDR to SDR tone mapping in Windows 11 with Plex? I know the N97 and N100 do (but they Jasper Lake chips).
