Anyway, if your goal is retro gaming, a Raspberry Pi is smaller and more energy-efficient for these types of tasks, but honestly, once you add in a case, a good power supply (RPi's are picky with respect to power...), and storage, it is probably at the same price or even more than this $130 machine. But if you are interested in more modern gaming or more powerful emulation, this system would be better and give you more flexibility for future upgrades.
Just saying buyers might want to read up.

Anyone install windows 10 instead and have any driver issues?
Thanks!

This mini PC uses up to 30 watts under load. RPI5 uses under 8 watts or 73% less power.
Mini PC uses 12 watts at idle. RPI5 under 3 Watts or 75% less.
Difference in idle watts of 9 watts over a year is 78kWh (214 Watts/day).
Difference under full load of 22 watts over a year is 193 kWh (538 Watts/day).
RPI5 energy bill will be 1/4 of the GMKtec.
If you're in a state with high electricity rates (eg close to 50c/kWh) or if you're running solar/battery this energy savings is significant. Not everyone has these requirements, but for those that do, the RPI5 makes sense.

I got one for about $80 including shipping and tax for a Linux build. I swapped the HD for an SSD I already had. Impressive little system and built very well. Uses about 8 watts at idle with Linux.
Another plus, as a 7th gen Intel CPU, it doesn't support Windoze 11.
