I also got my 65 inch C7 from Frys about that same time (and similar price). Great deal at the time. My C7 is still a great tv, but eventually I'll give in and get a 77 incher in a few years. I miss Frys. Video Only is a good option; I've made numerous purchases there at good prices.
The jump from 65" to 77" is amazing and totally worth it. I made the change in 2022 right around the 4 year (I got lucky, and LG replaced my C7 panel for free due to burn in at that time too so I still have both). Honestly, the picture quality difference between the C7 and G1 is surprisingly minimal, but the 40% more surface area made it totally worth the upgrade. I'm likely doing the 83" jump this year or maybe next, but that's definitely diminishing returns at 77" to 83" is only 16% more surface area.
Stay far far away from Video Only. I was in one once in WA and never again. Shady AF and their policies are terrible.
I think you may be the shady af one. Video only has been around at least 1999. You walk in, bargain on the price, walk out with tv. How is that difficult. Exactly what I did to get the c2 couple years back. are people so anxious and afraid to open their mouth and speak these days?

I'm not the person you're replying to, and I do like Video Only (see my second post in this thread), but I will say I do have personal friends who had nightmare experiences with them. We are talking HW failure shortly after purchase and the OEM telling them to go to the vendor and VO not willing to do anything. Admittedly, this was now a while ago (late plasma era), but that experience definitely motivated me to use an Amex card with strong protections in case of any issues.
With that said, my personal direct experience has been great with my 77G1, and I'm likely grabbing an 83C4 or 83G4 from them sooner than later.
Look up Best Buy lg c3 77. In most stores, it's sold out already.
Seems like it's in and out. Showed unavailable. Refreshed a couple of times and it was there. Texas. I was able to order one but don't really need it. I'm good with my TCL 65 R655 that I got for 381 New OTD. I know it's Lcd.
Can confirm, they have the C4 and Samsung S90D both for $1699 with trade in, but they didn't require a trade. The salesman gave me another $99 off and a 5yr warranty for $80, so $1680 total. I can get the Samsung for the same price, but was turned off by not having Dolby Vision or DTS pass through. I haven't picked up the C4 yet, should I change to the S90D?
