Interesting deal. Thanks for sharing OP. Not sure I want to be hounded by whoever they decide to share my phone number with, though.

If you are well enough off to own a house, I doubt you would want to subject yourself to a barrage of spam to your phone from this 'advisor' for cups of coffee.

After a little bit of digging, it appears that this company has a 'product' that is a 'credit card' that is really a draw against a HELOC that is set up against your house, thus the requirement for homeowners only. Seems shady to me.

Idk, homeowners get spammed for free anyways when there's no active lien on it, so what's a lil more spam for weekly coffee doesn't sound too bad ;P I'm curious how legit this offer is though so report back whoever dares to try!

During sign up they request to receive a tax transcript from the IRS (form 4506-C). No thanks. However, there is a tiny opt out option in the fine print after you enter your income and don't sign.

I used a referral code and supposedly $5 is on the way to my bank account after linking Plaid/Stripe

Starbucks giftcard was sent to my inbox "Free Starbucks On Us!" within 5 minutes after tapping claim in the app, then supposedly every Monday.

Have not yet received the barrage of spam, so to be determined on that.

Nice, do you know if actually needs any proof of home ownership in that case if we can opt out of form 4506-C?

I don't know about that.

I'm both a homeowner and an unapologetic cheapskate.

Doubt I am the only one, especially on a site called "Slickdeals".

That said, I can make coffee at home in less time and for less cost than gas to Starbucks, so it's a financial loser for me.

Use Google voice, Talkatone or TextNow etc instead of your personal phone.

If you're paying a mortgage, you don't "own" a house. The bank does.
