Basically, this is a Costco-exclusive upgrade of the Q681, which is why it's hard to find reviews of this exact model. The main differences are the upgraded Onkyo 2.1 speakers, the FireTV OS and a 3 year warrantee. It's a huge upgrade from the q651, with the local dimming and brighter picture.

A lot of people here bought these a few months ago when they were clearancing them out of the stores for $400. Most people seemed very happy with them. I got one, and the picture is really great. Very bright and the colors really pop. I mean, it's not as great as some of the $1000-2000 models, but it's $500. (Though it was originally $1300.) I'm very happy with my purchase.

I don't think you'll find a better TV in this price range at this time, unless you find some truly spectacular clearance deal. Probably the next level up you'll find at 75" is the Hisense U7N for $900 (also at Costco.)

I don't imagine that these will last too long, since they're not selling these in the stores any more. This is probably a clearance price.

Note: for anyone trying to put this on a smaller table/stand, the legs can attach in either direction (which isn't mentioned anywhere in the documentation!) When they're facing inwards, it can fit on some smaller stands.

To set your TCL TV to start up on the last input you used, navigate to Settings > System > Power (or Power and Energy on some models) and select "Last Used Input" as your power on behavior; this will automatically turn on your TV to the last input source you were using when you turned it off.
Key points to remember:
Access settings: Press the "Home" button on your remote, then navigate to "Settings".
Find Power settings: Within the settings menu, go to "System" and then select "Power" (or "Power and Energy").
Choose "Last Used Input": Under "Power On Behavior" or a similar option, select "Last Used Input".

This is going to be a better TV vs the 5 series. This set is QLED, has upgraded sound and local dimming. it's in the Q6 series, but this is at the upper end (where it includes the sound and dimming). If this had 120hz refresh rate, it would basically be the Q7.

That's crazy. I bet a lot more people would buy it so they don't have to get a van or SUV. Or struggle with the weight of the box

Free shipping at Costco and they will bring it right into your house.

I agree with the free shipping part, since the delivery guys brought the TV into my living room. My Costco had this TV in stock a couple months back for $399. But I didn't have a big enough vehicle to transport it and didn't want to go through the hassle of renting a vehicle. I was going to get the 75" TCL QM7 for $899 but cancelled the order. Since I didn't really need 120hz and the extra dimming for an extra $400 when compared to the Q691F at Costco .

I've been using this TV for a couple days and I'm really impressed with it especially at $500. I'm using this TV with a Google OS box that I used with my previous TV, and they are all hooked up to a receiver. I am not using the built-in FireTV OS so no complaints here. I've been looking for a 75" TV for a couple months now. IMO this is the best deal for a 75" QLED with FALD that also includes shipping and a 3 year warranty.

Don't forget you can get an extra 2 year warranty from Costco for $35. That's what I did back in Dec. Hopefully the TV dies in the 5th year and I'll use the money to get a better one.

Bought this November 2024. It's okay.
Not the best when it comes to watching sports. Fast moving becomes pixelated.

I want this tv. I still use the Firestick Ecosystem for my Amazon Recast. I just can't pull the trigger knowing that it was available for $100 less at Costco several months back. I'm too bitter for that. BJ's has the exact same model for $500 in store with some incentives that may be able to bring the price down a little bit.

I like BJ's okay since it's the closest warehouse to my home, but the place always feels a bit shady and low class. I wouldn't be surprised if they bought these from Costco and are now selling them themselves.

Just had this delivered and it's a pretty good TV for $500. But I'll tell you it is not OLED level good, so keep your expectations in check and you should be happy.

Also for those feeling you missed out on the $399 price, do know this is a heavy TV. Compared to other 65" flat panels that I have mounted on walls single handedly, this needed both my wife and I to lift and shift, let alone mount. So it is a fair trade-off IMO to have this delivered to your living room instead of you hauling this from store to home. I didn't buy this in store at $399 because I didn't have a big enough car to fit this in and didn't feel like renting a uhaul, but seeing how heavy it is, turned out to be the right call in hindsight

I'm struggling with saving 200 on this tv vs the TCL Q7 at BB…while I'm not a gamer, I do watch an extensive amount of sports and wonder if the 120hz native refresh rate is worth the extra 200…

Any real world experience would be appreciated, thx

I hear the Q7 has a much better picture. Why not go to BB and see for yourself if you think it's worth the extra 200.

Why would you worry about were BJ's got their supply? I'm sure they got them from their supplier.

As far as this Tv being $100 cheaper 2 months ago. MANY things were cheaper during the holidays than they are now. Also people paid $600 4 months ago.

Because tech should decline in price over time, never go up.

I hear ya but I'm hoping for some real world experience, not the over saturated 8K looped selling videos that BB runs. I have no experience with 120 native refresh rates, specifically regarding live sports telecasts, so hoping to get some feedback here….but I do appreciate your input, thx 👍🏼

You do understand what a sale is. Holiday sales are different from any other time of the year.

Anyway ,You should do what you think is best for you

Sports motion is always better in 120 than 60. The choice you need is the extra money worth it.

I have the 60.its not bad but not as good as my Sony with 120. I can see a difference. For me it's not worth the extra 200 but sports aren't the most important thing I watch.

Good luck
