I wouldn't mind having a couple. Some tools like the 3/8" ratchet I have are cumbersome with a 4Ah battery.

its a fair deal. Especially if you dont want to go down that route of hack for batteries.
Yes its only 2.0 but batteries die in a couple of years of use anyways, i would rather have a backup than 4.0 battery.

Ryobi is pretty good on replacing these small batteries if you have issues. Customer service just asks what's going on and they just send a new one.

New 2.0Ah batteries flood private sales because no one wants them.

Just getting rid of all the 2.0Ah goes a long way in daily use, 4.0Ah and 6.0Ah should be the only deals.

Get an adapter for Power Wheels and you'll make your kid happy all warm season long. Sure, 4 or 6 Ah would be better but you can have a few as backups. How else are kids going to learn about electric cars? And no, AFAIK Teslas don't accept these.

I have a lot of lighter use tools that are totally fine on these 2ah batteries. The smaller size and reduced weight are greatly appreciated. Just my use cases.

Mines won't charge. How is the process? Don't really feel like jumping through hoops with customer service since it's pretty cheap anyways.

You can get 2 of the 4 amp batteries for $99 at Home Depot. Last week there was a post about some stores had the 2 pack 4 amp on clearance for $63, but those are gone. There is a trade off with weight with the 4 amp batteries, but you do get longer use with the larger battery.

For the flashlights, the car vacum and even the drills the 2 amp batteries are fine for the non professional user, around the house things. A 4 pack of the 2 amp batteries for $10 less than 2 of the 4 amp batteries if you don't have many batteries it is easier to keep some at the ready when doing projects.

These 2 amp are around and less than some of the no name ones of possibly dubious quality you can find online. If you don't have extra batteries this is a pretty good compromise for the non professional.

I like them for specific purposes. They're crap for things that take a lot of power obviously, but for Ryobi's handheld lights and the pruning sheets they actually last a long time and they're super light -- much prefer them in the pruners over a 4ah battery when pruning shoulder height or above. As always, the right tool for the job. Even the 3000lm light lasts a good while with them.

Not sure I'd want a ton of them though, 4 would probably be my limit.

Now the 1.5Ah batteries... _those_ need to go away.

Agree 100%. I have both 2ah and 4ah batteries and unless the task requires the additional power of the 4ah, I always use the 2ah to reduce weight and resulting fatigue, particularly if it requires using the tool at shoulder height or above.

$89 for four batteries is a very good price and trying to resist even though I don't really need!.

Don't remember the exact process. But I think you fill out a form online. Obviously they need to verify the product and mark it in their system that it was defective.
