FYI theyre not "crown staples," they're staples with a 3/8" crown. It's not a "crown stapler," it's a "3/8" Crown Stapler"

I have this stapler and it works well. Note that Amazon is not an authorized seller for Ryobi.

Crown stapler is still the common term for it.
The other type is a narrow crown stapler.

One of the few Ryobi tools I prefer over my M12 stapler. Can't hate Ryobi for offering good value.

for what my opinion is worth (basically nothing) I would not have called anything that uses T50 staples a "Crown Stapler".

I've been looking for an upgraded electronic stapler though, so I'm liking this deal

T50 (3/8") staples are, by definition, a crown staple. The shape is what makes it a crown staple.
What you are considering "crown staples" are narrow crown staples (usually 1/4" crown).

What do you use it for, besides upholstery? I have a manual T50 stapler that I havent used in 10 years, so having a hard time considering something I may never use.

Can you share your experiences with the two? I have the M12 but Project Farm seemed to really like the Ryobi.

This is one of the (rarely) few Ryobi tools that beats the Big Red equivalent.

I have one of these and love it. I help build props for a high school marching band. I'm very popular when I bring this tool along :-)

Seeing all these comments about upholstery made me realize- I think this may be exactly what I'm supposed to use to put a new seat cover on my wave runner.
