FYI theyre not "crown staples," they're staples with a 3/8" crown. It's not a "crown stapler," it's a "3/8" Crown Stapler"

Crown stapler is still the common term for it.
The other type is a narrow crown stapler.

I have this stapler and it works well. Note that Amazon is not an authorized seller for Ryobi.

One of the few Ryobi tools I prefer over my M12 stapler. Can't hate Ryobi for offering good value.
the ryobi right angle die grinder is also omega tite. They know it now, though. Never on sale for less than a hundo. Blows all the other die grinders out the frame.

Agree. I own one too. Love the ergonomics compared to the m12. They used to offer it as a tool option during Ryobi days (2 years ago), but I haven't seen a any notable deals in quite some time. The best (recent) deal in memory was a DTO factory blemished for $79.

Had to break down and buy my first ryobi tool that wasn't on sale in at least a few years. The 40v 10ft pole saw literally never went on sale and I needed it for trees.
In for one of these.

My PowerShot does a better job than my M12 stapler.

Love my pole saw. I got the first "xpand it" generation and after I tightened the chain up insanely tight, it never chokes on anything. It's also kinda scary when it's not being used with the extender pole- kinda too easy to move around- damage dealer for sure. Dude did I just come up with a good zombie weapon here?

What do you use it for, besides upholstery? I have a manual T50 stapler that I havent used in 10 years, so having a hard time considering something I may never use.
Installing webbing for HVAC flex ducts, wall insulation, home improvement stuff, in general. Have one and abused the crap out of it, still works like a champ.

I'm planning on using it to assemble some flat pack shelves. Staples will be way faster than those nails.

That sounds like a good question for Bruce Campbell. 😉

For those of us that use it for lighter duty, like upholstery or cloth, the HF Bauer one (currently @ $30) is not a bad option.

Check your Uber Eats. I have a 40% off coupon (minimum $50, and $30 max discount) available for Home Depot. Price comes to:

$54.31 for Stapler (lol Uber inflation)
-21.72 from 40% off
$0 deliver fee (if you have Uber One)
$10.76 in taxes and fees (including a $9 service fee, lol Uber)

= $43.35 before tip

Also, pair this promotion with the 25% off Costo Uber Eats gift cards to save 25% off the discounted price.

Lol, I also had the older version with the gas engine, but it wasn't a 10 foot one. The 40v is nice, a little heavy since the motor is up by the chain, but its been a life saver being able to cut oak branches without standing on top of my ATV, also helps for zombies.

Project Farm on YouTube did a great review of staplers and this one tested REALLY well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zOQk0Y3sYI

Just picked this one up and am impressed. On 2x4 and set at max power, staples went deeper than my Ridgid staple, both on 4ah batteries.

I
The harbor freight one is a 4 volt one with built in battery . The Ryobi is 18 volt and requires a battery sold separately. The Ryobi one is much heavier
