What makes a tool "FUEL" over a Brushless like this one? Don't think they have a fuel rotary tool.
Fuel is just a marketing term to coincide with their quality-pricing ladder strategy of good, better, best tiers. Essentially Fuel is targeted to pros and industrial application. It's their "best" tier. All Fuel tools are brushless. However not all brushless tools are Fuel. These are generally considered their "better" tools and then you have their legacy brushed tools as 'good.' It's also worth noting that not every tool has a Fuel, brushless, and brushed version.

Dang. I just got the dremel 8520 for 95. Worth getting this one instead if I'm already in the milwaukee system?

I'd go with the m12. I prefer the tool-less design of the m12 to change the bits and as much as I love Dremel and Bosch, I'd prefer to limit the number of ecosystems I'm using

What's the typical use of this tool? Is it just like Dremel, but cordless?

Can someone explain how to get the deal? It shows up as 199 on the deal page for me in 3 formats, not logged in, logged in normal and logged in xpro. Adding to cart it stays 199.

What would be a good accessory kit to go with this tool?

This one (2525) is the newer model.
You can find the older brushed model (2460) on ebay for about $70 tool-only. I waivered between them for a bit but just bought this one since it's supposed to be stronger and is probably about the same price if you consider the battery and charger cost.

That was what I was thinking when I saw a review with a pic in someone's hand. How is it for engraving initials or writing text on metal?
That's me with the die grinder, I really wanted one until I went and held it, so much bigger than air ones! Also considerably more expensive (like $160 vs $30). Probably not good for engraving, you would be much better off getting one of those small engraving pencil tools.

YMMV, but I was seeing the same and used the chat where the rep pointed out that when I choose my home zip code ("my store" within HD website was showing zip code not too far from me but not same as home zip) where I wanted to have the product shipped to, the price changed to $199 from $119. Price only good for certain zip codes. If I choose a store 20 minutes from me, I see the $119 and can get it into my cart at that price to checkout but have to pickup at store unless you have convenient alternative place to ship within that zip code (e.g. your work, friend).

There is no fuel rotary tool. Only brushed and brushless.
