Not a fan. Had glue failure leading to separation at the seams with them. RTIC refused to fix. North face bag is all stitching, I have never had a problem with a base camp duffel.

The 74% off number is very misleading.

I paid $70 for the medium when it was first released years ago. I love it for camping. Very durable.

Medium (70 Liter), and Large (140 Liter)

This bag is comparable to The North Face Base Camp Duffle which is the original type of this PVC duffel bag.

For comparison, a NF BCD in Medium is 71L and periodically can be found on sale for $70 and the NF BCD in XL is 132L and can be had for $90, according to past slickdeals.

Based on this, this deal seems pretty good.

Is a cylindrical duffel a pain to use vs a box shape?

Mine has lasted many years now, and I like it....EXCEPT for the obnoxiously large RTIC on every surface. I wish they'd tone down the marketing - even the STRAP has a huge RTIC on it.

looks like it won't work as a check in for the large one? most airlines use 62" linear length?

Yes. Hard to organize and access too.

Probably won't work here but I put a Yeti sticker over the logo on my RTIC cooler.

OMG, I've been seeing this brand around for years and never really gave it any thought, but it just clicked for me that it's supposed to sound like "Arctic". Sorry for wasting your time if y'all already knew that.

Is yours the same design as this or does this one look like it has stitching now where yours failed?
