I'm in a similar situation. I did my first 30 days with TW with a paid $65 plan, and just after 30 days I ported out my number. I figured, after initial activation, it'd be unlocked after 60 days. When I found out about the paid 60 days requirement, I hastily bought another $65 plan, ported a new number and figured that was sufficient. I'm told by redditors that because I ported out the phone after 30 days, it reset the "unlock clock" and that I'll probably need to buy another month after this second month. I guess we'll see...

I was told by both the unlocking department rep and the customer service rep that I just need 60 days of paid service total, and that the interruption in the middle would not reset my count. Hopefully I was not given false information.

I bought 3 Iphones from Total wireless and just used for 30 days, now I am really frustrated. None of the phone can be unlock. I try to activate the expired service from all 3 different accounts but nothing work. Different error message show up that I cannot activate any of the phone lines. The existent account would not let me sign UP for a NEW phone number from all phone's IMEI. Do I have to call the customer service phone to join/renew for a 2nd month? Please share your experience or STEPS if you were able to continue the service for a 2nd month. thank you.

Call support, there's nothing anyone here can do to fix whatever you did.

Any update? I activated my phone on 2/27 and paid for 1 month of plan, so it should've unlocked per the original policy. But it's still locked.

If I do need 2 months of paid plan, do they need to be consecutive months? I ported my number back to my original phone so I don't even have a number on the iPhone 13 anymore.

If I do need another month of plan do I need to port the same number in again, or can I pay for the plan but not port any number? I have another phone plan so I don't need to use this iPhone 13 until it's unlocked.
no, but my straight talk 16e unlocked from march 7 activation, 2nd one in june which I likely wont qualify for.. they are being hard ass on the 2nd month,

if you file fcc, they offer the 10 dollar service that isn't on the website... so 10 is better than paying 35/40/60 for 2nd month

What customer service number did you call? Did they say if it has to be 2 months of continuous service, or will it unlock after your 2nd month ($10 plan)?
They didnt say it had to be, i was already out but they just offer the 10 dollar plan that they offer everyone to get it unlock. I didnt do it because I dont need that phone, I have 2 16e that I'm willing to pay 2nd month but 1 from march unlocked already so waiting for 2nd 16e which I dont think will

Was the 10 dollar plan valid for 30 days? Did the 10 dollar plan include data?
That I dont know, I believe it was data only. I didn't take it but I will for the next phone if it does not unlock

I ordered my Moto Edge 2024 from Total Wireless in April, and the phone has SIM unlocked after 60 days of service. However, I found the *eSIM* of the phone wasn't activated and the eSIM is disabled(greyed) today and I chatted with their support, they couldn't activate/enable the eSIM on my phone.
The Moto Edge 2024 definitely has eSIM on board, so they just enabled the physical SIM but not the eSIM. I felt being fooled
Any suggestions, thanks!

If I buy this phone to be sent overseas, is it still possible for it to be automatically unlocked after 60 days?
Or would I need to keep it here locally for the 60 days until the unlock is sent to the phone?

yes, activate first, turn off/ship, then after 60 days, it will auto unlock as long as 2nd month plan is still active.

I just got my phone unlocked after complaining to FCC.
As for the $10 per month plan, I was not able to get it even after repeated tries.
It is only offered when the phone is in deactivated status for a certain period of time as per my
understanding..
