It would be nice if there was some way to filter out (hide) "incentivized" reviews on this item, as well as any other items...not only at Best Buy, but any online retailer. Sigh...

I like LG tvs because they tend to use IPS panels. I couldn't find much on this TV except it is pretty average. The 65" TV market is pretty competitive, and this tv seems to be a base model. No magic remote, no legacy connections like composite or component, I couldn't find how bright the picture is, 60hz refresh rate, and webos doesn't do anything for me. I couldn't even find the panel type. Rtings did a review on the up7000, but this is the ut7000.

It does say it works with Google, Alexa, and apple air play which is nice I guess.

Since the UP7000 is a 3 year old model, I think the review of the UT75xx would be the closer comparison to this + the noted step down in build quality.

bought a UQ43" mid last year and I have to say if there was no branding on it that you would not have been able tell if it was a 5 year old budget Hisense. I suggest passing on low end LG models. I did own nano cell 9000 series (I think) 3 or 4 years ago and it was great.

Kinds crap TV according to Rtings. Slightly better options available for less money.

Its been this price for a long time. I've been shopping for one for over a month and it's been this price since. This is not a sale but a new regular price.

Best 65" under 400 is Hisense U6 available at WM for 370 or Samsung 7200 for $400.

Things to look for: good contrast, motion interpolation (helps with judder), good balanced sound profile with plenty loudness.

Seems like different models of the U6 has either Roku or google. Which one is better ?

Idk, everyone has their opinion.

Every Roku player or TV I have/had seems to have severe issues with rapid speed deterioration, a few months later it lags like hell, and take 3-5 seconds to respond to buttons. Like if there's a memory leak in older PCs and the "swap" memory is being overloaded. Roku players freeze and glitch all the time. Our little gym room Roku TV has become so slow after last reset 6 months ago that you literally can put the remote down and do 10 pushups before it responds to a button press.

I never had same issues with google or ios TVs.

I'd say avoid Roku at all costs, but it's just me.
