I got two, with the second one I remembered to also get the optional 3-year warranty for $13 (I never get these, but it seems the right thing to do with this). So far I've made 6 healthy pizzas using store-bought 12" crusts and my own toppings and they've been perfect.

Each time I make a pie it goes faster. I prep and place my own toppings on the crust as the pizza oven pre-heats. Soon I'm going to start making real sourdough crusts, I've gotten as far as watching videos on sourdough starter. Online everyone tests and says this does reach 800°, every style of pizza is doable.

It looks good, is not too loud, it's lightweight, does not make a mess at all (at least for me), it's a well-known brand, it comes with a manual and a one-year warranty. Simply know how much power it draws (1800W) so you don't trip a circuit (as with any appliance), and run it outside before the very first time you use it to burn off factory smells (as you would with any pizza oven). But get that 3-year Walmart extended warranty for $13.

If the first one I bought lasts a couple years, I'll then give the second one away as a wedding or housewarming gift (along with one of the 8 acacia cutting boards that I picked up from Walmart this week!).

Before buying I went way down the rabbit hole and spent hours with video reviews of other pizza ovens which are much more expensive, I went to reddit r/pizzaoven and saw that people really liked it. Not many direct videos on this specific oven on YT, but here's a new one from a picky pizza snob https://youtu.be/641zMpkqiR8?si=ml5uuv19nS1cr2oE — my take on his review is that he's made some persnickety judgments on the quality of this oven's pizza results. I think you have to learn from experience from each pizza and then tweak your temperatures. Also the top of the oven is not hot at all. I can rest my hand on it while baking, at least this is true with the oven that I got. But it still is helpful to watch.

If you're having questions or reservations, type "Gourmia" in the SD search bar and you'll find several long threads with several hundred comments which will inform you in every last detail on anything you want to know about this 🍕 oven. Believe me, if you've been wanting to make your own pizzas, this is a screaming deal 🔥
Beware this uses fiber glass for insulation and it is exposed to the air. I literally opened it to double check and found exposed areas where fiberglass is looking at you. this is not great - it is supposed to be concealed
The pizza in this picture was made using Aldi's pre-made dough. It should be around $1.50 and can be found in a box in the open fridge section. The brand is Mama Cozzi. I believe I let this dough proof in the fridge for three days.

Otherwise, I make the dough from scratch, Double zero flour, ~70% moisture.

Great deal. I have a few outdoor pizza ovens (Koda 16 / Witt ETNA Rotante) and this is pretty great for a small indoor electric pizza oven that quickly gets to over 800°f. I still plan on upgrading the stone to a Biscotto, like all my pizza ovens. That will greatly reduce burning on the bottom.

I purchased for $89.88 on 1/17. They wouldn't price match but did give me a customer credit after I insisted. The oven itself is good but do the initial seasoning outside as it made lie smoke detectors go off

I didn't notice much if any smoking when I did my burn in. Did you actually season the stone (oil it)?

Unless you're willing to shell out $500-$600 for a 16" Ooni Koda, 12" is standard for a pizza oven.

I bought it. Returned it after 1 use. Mine may have been faulty. It tripped my 20amp kitchen breaker and fried my island pop-up outlet in the process, so it costs me $100 to replace that. I used it once for a frozen pizza, and love the concept, but as it was warming it set off the smoke detectors and when I put the pizza inside, the stone was immediately burnt black. I understand they season and all that, but it looked terrible and wouldn't clean. There was nothing mentioned in the manual about seasoning or pretreating other than to let it bake with nothing inside for 20 minutes. I have 25 year old pizza stones that look and work great with nothing needed other than a quick scrape, but this one was bad. I wanted it to work, it's cool that you can change the temperature of the top and bottom individually, but mine didn't work out.

I got one last month. So far I'm loving it, pulled a great pizza out of it just a couple hours ago. I always use it outside or in the garage if it's cold.

I've owned this for over a month now and it makes next level pizza. Neapolitan style pizzas are my specialty.

AMA if you have any questions.

We have made 5 pizzas with ours and love it. I always set it up outside though as it makes the house smell.

Are you supposed to season the stone with oil? The manual didn't state that at all, just to run it high for 20 minutes
