Existing customers can get the phone only for $399 ($699 for the Pro XL) by logging into your account.Phone is locked to mint for 60 days.As always make sure to use a referral code to get credit toward your first renewal. If you are moving multiple lines you can daisy chain referrals and get a good amount of credit.
Hi. I have a Pixel 6 with Mint and still have a half year of pre-paid on it. Will the referral code work to factor the data I have left? If so, how do I get the referral code, please?

Mint Mobile is the best deal, IMO. I switched to them about 4 year ago and haven't looked back. Just as reliable as any major carrier but a fraction of the cost. Even their international service is way cheaper. I'm traveling in Panama at the moment and service is seamless here. And Mint only charges $20 for a 10-day international plan.
Honestly 20$ for 10 days is a lot. There are plenty of esim operators (I use revolut since already have an acc. but they are advertising a lot in general) who will sell you the same for 3-4$ of your phone supports esims.

How long do I have to be away from Mint to get this deal? Currently on the Google Fi 50 percent off promo.
Officially I think it is 90 days but I don't think they enforce it. As long as you port in and use a new account, should be fine.

Does it have to be actively be used on the network after activation to unlock?
If you want it to automatically unlock yes. But you can call and get an unlock code also. Many report it can be done sooner than 60 days since you've paid for the phone and plan.

Can I get this deal and move the sim card to a different phone without losing the 1 year plan?
Plan and phone are totally unrelated, just pop the SIM card in that other phone right from the get go.

You'll need to get the Pixel unlocked if you don't plan to use it with Mint though.

Does it require the phone must be operated consistently for 60 days? What about phone swapping after activation ? Does the phone swapping break the unlock policy?
For automatic unlock, you just have to connect on day 1 and day 60. For manual unlock via customer service, it never needs to connect to them, they'll give you an unlock code.

How does the existing customer get the phone only? I do not see an option to skip plan selection.
Log into your account in the app or on the website and go under buy a phone, it is right there.

Yes, I logged in first and saw my plan details, then I went to the shop new phone page afterwards.
If you don't see it on the site, go into the app and do it there.

No, if you are an existing customer you cannot use this deal or get a referral unless you buy a totally new line.

You still have the option to use an international eSIM, but we find $20 for 10 days is often competitive with local offerings, considering it's ease of use and high data allocation. Plus in some countries it's not possible to get a local phone number/eSim as a non resident.

Existing customers: It seems like the $399 deal is better than porting out to another provider and then coming back. Am I missing something?
