it could be used with a battery charger to start your vehicle when your 12v is dead..
to get it to turn on and let the traction battery take over and then the car charge the 12v.
like the volt, bolt, and prius.. among other models.
I still think 50 is a bit much for what it is.. but the C charging in both directions is cool..
I do look forward to buying one when I can get it cheaper

This is a "bare tool" ("BT" in the model number) without battery for online sale only and most likely in a cardboard box, no fancy glossy retail packaging (which is a requirement for store items).

Found in the Q & A that this outputs modified sine wave. Pass!

I put a review on the Home Depot website about the failure. They agreed to warranty the unit and as part of replacement they made me agree to allow them to remove the 1 star review.
oh, wait.. I just realized that you were kidding... there's no way that a 2A Ryobi battery can possible provide enough charge, even if it's to move a totally dead model 3?
Why couldn't your sister have just plugged into any other charger or even a regular power plug? That's the beauty of EVs... electricity is is literally everywhere.

I like the dual (C and A) USB wall charger that comes with this and use for other things regularly.
