This is the best version of SO2 I've ever played, and this was someone who played the original PSX version and the PSP remake.

The amount of QoL changes woven in made this game so good it might as well be the definitive edition.

This is the best version of SO2 I've ever played, and this was someone who played the original PSX version and the PSP remake.

Great game. Loved it. Only issue is the battle difficulty is not balanced. It goes from easy to difficult quickly. The game can be beat around level 65ish with all your teammates. The super bosses are like level 120 or more. So a lot of game extras are best to complete in new game plus to defeat them. At that point what's the purpose to beat those bosses for loot that will go towards to beat the game a second time. If you beat the first playthorugh without the loot, why have it in the second playthrough.

You can beat everything in the first playthrough if you get all the right gear.

I have a 130 hours invested in the PS5 version (currently at 70 out of 99 endings). Absolutely zero complaints. You will love this game even if you're not a 90's fanboy.
