Normal Bluetooth pairing. I prefer these to the Max because they sound similar but are lighter. If you have a Sonos soundbar these are a no brainer over the max at this price IMO.

px7s noise cancellation isn't that good and the workmanship is bad. had the headband and earpad peel off. but parts replacements are cheap on ali and amazon. sound quality is incredible and it looks really good.

airpods max pairing is overrated because regular bluetooth pairing does most work. noise cancellation is the best of any headphones. weight don't matter because it's very comfortable. do get applecare though. mine went out after a year. resale value is also very high. sold my defective pair for $200.
If you're invested in Apple, there's really no comparison. The pairing capabilities between Apple products and the spatial sound features are unmatched. When I put down and pick up the APM, it's instantaneous connection and disconnection. Bluetooth headphones take like 5 seconds to wake up and pair, and will keep playing music for a little bit even after taking it off your head.
There's no 3rd party market for replacement ear pads on this Sonos. There is for APM. I found the Sonos ear pads to be uncomfortable after long use because it basically becomes a heat pad almost. The mesh pad and other 3rd party pads are much more comfortable IMO.

Anyone with experience with these care to speak on if they would recommend over Bose or Sony?
Outstanding ANC. Good sound quality and has the compatibility with the Sonos ecosystem. Which could be a good or a bad thing given their app issues in the past few years.
On par with Bose QC Ultra for me. XM3 Sony are my other pair but imo the Sonos are newer and have better ANC and more comfy.
Edit: Comfort and fit are subjective though. IMO there have been slow improvements over time in all brands. Only thing that's gone backward is Sony ANC
This fits my use case, as my kids and wife wont let me watch any movie on TV even at moderate volume after 9pm. So tv swapping with my arc surround setup is something I am looking for.
Folks who have previously bought from adorama, how easy is their return policy incase these dont fit properly?
