The 3050 6GB is pretty good for a 35W GPU. It's benchmarking about at a desktop 1060 6GB, but with modern features.

At 35W the GPU is pretty weak. In gaming laptops it's fed something like 80-100W which then does perform on par with a 1060 6GB

I generally like Asus but I have the model just below this and I get a blue screen at least weekly, generally driver issues. Windows 11 isn't great and might be at fault but I'd still be wary.
I've had this exact model (new) since the middle of December with no discernable problems other than a Windows update that broke the webcam driver (common to more models than just this) and a fan that runs quite loud (tho I'm just getting used to Windows 11 and need to figure out a better power scheme).

I got a 16" oled in 3k and 14" oled in HD like this one, and the HD you really notice how the text is just not sharp enough. 15.6 you really need 3k.

Arrived today. Open box excellent condition for $739. The screen is amazing for OLED, even only at FHD. I'd use dual screens if I needed to increase my productivity vs a higher resolution 15.6" monitor. It charges very fast, but hopefully the battery life is good. I was looking for something I could have sitting around for a few days without having to worry about charging it.

This is the same laptop that I bought from Best Buy's price error on Christmas Day. I got the open box for $434 w/ tax. Just finished Death Stranding on this laptop a week ago. Great laptop. I can't believe it I got it at this price.

Anyone have any educated thoughts on how well Adobe Lightroom would run on this machine, particularly for their more intensive Denoise AI processing? My current laptop is well spec'd, but it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card, and that process runs upwards of 9 minutes per task, which seems crazy. My son's Mac runs the same at about 2 minutes, and some computers run at about 30 seconds. But it's hard to tell how far I need to upgrade to see a fair performance increase without breaking the bank.... TIA

Did you tested the battery life? Can you speak about it?

I haven't fully tested it but I charged it to 100% and today I still had about 35% battery left. I've actually used it for maybe 3 hours in total so far which includes all the initial setup
