I had 3 months for $3 going on. It was going to expire on 17th Feb. I cancled that and tried to rescubscibe with this promo code and it was unscuccessful. I was greeted with "members who recently canceled their subscription is not eligible for this promo". Just posting this here so others know and don't cancle their subscription.

Nope. Set a reminder for everyday of the last week of 3rd month and cancel it.

I think I remember from past deals that you had to be cancelled for over a week to be eligible for these kind of deals.

This is correct. However, you don't need to wait until the last week of the third month. You can cancel as soon as your third month starts and you'll keep it until the end. I just tried it on my back-up account and my SIP club is valid until a month from now.

Doesn't really matter that you cancelled, your benefits should still continue until your next renewal date. I cancelled mine today too (mostly so I wouldn't forget and get charged) and it said it would last until 3/2 which was the first day they were going to try and charge me the full price.
