Gusseted crouches are very common now on your more technical pants. They are a great invention I must say. Keeps you cooler and much more comfortable when sitting and especially driving. I wouldn't get pants without this.

I used to look for this specifically for climbing, hiking, or workout pants -- it's magic. Just an extra piece of fabric to increase range of motion (and reduce seam tears) without making the pants too stretchy or baggy.

Definitely in for a couple!
