the expansion pack to CoD 1 (2003) is $15. Makes sense

By the way, these are the same sale prices they've had about 10x per year for 6-7 years now
The fact that the lowest price in this list for an 18-year-old game is $10 tells you all you need to know about Activision
WAY overpriced and all those games have issues with hacking. Boycott activision

For some reason StackSocial had keys for $5 like 7 years ago. I got one then. Lobbies were full of hackers. Still the breakout game that led to MW2.

Campaigns worth a play through. Multiplayer is probably a hacking fest

sorry to be the SteamDeck guy, but... any single player (I'm not an online player) compatibility with CODs?

From someone who owns every COD:

Black Ops 3 is the best on the Steam Deck in terms of content. It has Workshop support and there are a ton of fun mods. You can even play offline with bots if you want, which I really enjoy. You can technically play online but the community is dead. It also has some performance issues that can be fixed by booting the game in offline mode.

Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, Infinite Warfare, and WWII all work GREAT on the deck as well. But as with BO3, only get them if you want to play the campaigns, zombies, or multiplayer with bots. Keep in mind, they all require an internet connection to play.

The older CODs do work, but lack decent controller support. BO1 has controller support in-game, but not in the menus. BO2 has controller support but I can't get it to work in Zombies for some reason.

So if you're looking for a decent experience, go with BO3, Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, Infinite Warfare, or WWII.

Modern Warfare 2019, Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard, and Modern Warfare II (2022) do NOT work on SteamOS and require you to install Windows."

Used to play black ops II but can't since I don't want my system compromised. Many of these games are hacked just as everyone else has been saying. Check steam discussions for each game to see if they are safe to play online.

They'll never get rid of the hackers. They can easily IP address ban them the first time. But they want them to purchase the game again. Wouldn't be surprised if they were the ones providing the hacks. Make money from a game they can't make great again. Smilie They don't have enough time or employees to fix all the bugs too. Just dragging the title to squeeze as much they can out of it.
