I'm not getting into a pissing contest when you asked "Why would anyone buy this" and I answered Mr. Caps lock

In for one, may regret it when 50 series deals come online next month. Will circle back when it arrives with build quality. Couldnt find much online. I plan on trying to get it to 32GB of ram and adding another SSD. It's hard to build this for cheaper.

Why would anyone buy a no name gaming laptop when the big name prices are not that far off. I need a solid warranty when purchasing a gaming laptop. I see no reviews on this laptop at any retailer.

They are decently reviewed company, you should do more DD. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to piece this stuff together. Better reviews than some of MSI, AOC, even some ACER or ASUS ROG in this league. So unless you want to find me a Lenovo Legion 7i or HP Envy at $1000 with these specs, good luck.

Agreed, this seems like a foolish risk to take but people love saving a buck. It COULD be ok but if anything goes wrong I imagine you're not going have much luck getting help.

If you look at Costco's site, they sell Skytech as one of their handful of computer manufacturing brands. And if you know anything about Costco, you know they wrap the manufacturer's warranty with their own. So, their buyers are very picky about who they are willing to resell since it will cost the company money in the long run.

Yes, it is. However, what's uncertain is whether there's two RAM slots or just one. Because it does say single channel in their promotion. If that's the case, then you would have to remove the existing 16GB stick to put in 32GB.
