The GV will initially show ok but then not go through.
People have been using $5 Visible lines ($25 - $20 referral code for first month).

Yes, it will show Verizon. You need phone number, account number, port-out PIN and ZIP. Text FOUR to 611611 and the four digits should match the last four of your phone IMEI/Account number (15-digit). The ZIP code is the one you entered when you activated the phone (for a new number, or you can check it by logging into your account on a browser). Text NTP when you're ready to buy iP13/port-out to get your 4-digit PIN.

Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before I can buy through Metro again? I bought a similar deal last fall (for the iPhone 12), then just didn't renew the monthly plan.

EDIT: I guess Metro doesn't have much of a time limit between when letting your account expire and placing new orders because I just placed an order for this ip13 and it's only been about 3-4 months since I let my previous metro plan expire. Also, I placed the order just minutes after creating a visible account and porting that new visible number over to metro.

just tried placing an order and i got charged, but it says i need to contact them to place my order. tried again and it says "Unfortunately, this number can't be transferred. Try another number or choose a new number to continue." got an email from visible saying they are in the process of porting my number. no email confirmation from t-mobile/metro though. any idea if it'll go through?

I just picked up the Samsung S25 for $98 out the door from Spectrum. I guess once it unlocks I can port the number over to Metro but I really don't need another iPhone 13 (have 2 already).
How did you do that?

$35 if you have an existing line and porting in a new line. $35 + $5 (visible line) = $40 in total.
Very challenging to impossible to get a line added for $35. Technically it's one per account.

Guys!

Asking for help and tips, please!

Ordered one for my daughter, but we are on T-Mobile. Which version of RSIM do I need to order to be able to use the phone on T-Mobile instead of Metro? If anyone knows, please suggest a link to a seller of those RSIM's. I used eSIM from Visible. Should I leave eSIM and put RSIM in physical slot with T-Mobile SIM card to make it work?
Are you on t-mobile postpaid? Which plan? Why aren't you trading in your iPhone 13 through Apple but tmo financed to get the iPhone 16 for free?

What is the locking period? Suppose I took 75$ plan and cancel after first month, does it unlocks?

nope, error means the order didn't go thru and now your ported number is on hold (meaning it can't be use for porting to Metro until you call and request them to cancel the port). I have to do this many times (I think Metro flagged my address used) Smilie

How long can I wait to activate it, so that I continue to use visible for some time?

Hope I'm not repeating a question...

To unlock the phone, it would have to be activated. Would this require putting the apple account on the phone? If it was later traded in, does the "factory reset" really wipe the phone of personal data?

If the phone is never activated and only used as a trade, don't even need to open the box? Do the highest trade values need just the phone or with the box/accessories?

Turn off autopay and let it lapse. Better yet, use a privacy.com card and pause the card.
And the phone will automatically unlock at the one year mark? even with no active service for 11 months?

I just learnt visible do one line one device. I was trying to put two visible eSIMs in one to activate both but that does not work. However it works perfectly fine if it's another carrier. Just fyi for those who are trying to do the same.
