The GV will initially show ok but then not go through.
People have been using $5 Visible lines ($25 - $20 referral code for first month).

Yes, it will show Verizon. You need phone number, account number, port-out PIN and ZIP. Text FOUR to 611611 and the four digits should match the last four of your phone IMEI/Account number (15-digit). The ZIP code is the one you entered when you activated the phone (for a new number, or you can check it by logging into your account on a browser). Text NTP when you're ready to buy iP13/port-out to get your 4-digit PIN.

Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before I can buy through Metro again? I bought a similar deal last fall (for the iPhone 12), then just didn't renew the monthly plan.

EDIT: I guess Metro doesn't have much of a time limit between when letting your account expire and placing new orders because I just placed an order for this ip13 and it's only been about 3-4 months since I let my previous metro plan expire. Also, I placed the order just minutes after creating a visible account and porting that new visible number over to metro.

My order went through and I got the order number but never received the confirmation email. Looked up the order status with my order number and it says cancel. I called the porting department and they've canceled the port, but asked me to wait a few hours and place an order via phone instead. I'm hesitant to do that because it might incur an activation fee. I also wonder if placing an order with a virtual credit card number caused my order to be canceled. I guess I'll pay with my actual card this time as autopay doesn't seem to be enabled by default, but I'm not sure.

Question if I want to use this for trade in value. After I get it in my hands, what's the soonest I can use it to trade in at t mobile/t mobile/atnt/which else big name carrier? And do I have to cancel the $75 month plan first?

Ideally i would like to buy it with a virtual credit card, then i would just cancel the card don't have to bother canceling the plan at all once im "in the clear"

You need a spectrum account. Go to the store or online and trade in a phone to get the deal.
