The GV will initially show ok but then not go through.

Yes, it will show Verizon. You need phone number, account number, port-out PIN and ZIP. Text FOUR to 611611 and the four digits should match the last four of your phone IMEI/Account number (15-digit). The ZIP code is the one you entered when you activated the phone (for a new number, or you can check it by logging into your account on a browser). Text NTP when you're ready to buy iP13/port-out to get your 4-digit PIN.

Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before I can buy through Metro again? I bought a similar deal last fall (for the iPhone 12), then just didn't renew the monthly plan.

EDIT: I guess Metro doesn't have much of a time limit between when letting your account expire and placing new orders because I just placed an order for this ip13 and it's only been about 3-4 months since I let my previous metro plan expire. Also, I placed the order just minutes after creating a visible account and porting that new visible number over to metro.

Are all the phones showing " Uh oh, this device is currently unavailable online". I checked this afternoon, most of them are still available to add to the cart, except iPhone 12 and 13. Now all of them are showing not available online.

Sorry, this is my first time on such deal. Do I have to let the phone number expire after the first month service? If I port out the number to another carrier using a different phone after the first month, will this phone still be unlocked after 365 days? Thanks.

Ordered 1 via Total Wireless port. Was with Metro until a year ago. Order went thru right away and port completed in less than 2 minutes. Once received, I'll try to order a second one. Hope is to trade with iphone 16 or SE 4 (probably at Apple store, unless bestbuy comes with better value) for my kid who seems to have been inspired by his friends who carry iphone.

I was trying to port from Total Wireless to Metro. I have verified that the Account number and PIN are all correct.
I had the same issue but had forgotten to create a port out pin that needs to be used. Try that please

Thank you for the PSA. My initial order attempt crapped out at the fraud check and caused my Visible number to get stuck in limbo (i.e., "this number can't be used...'). Changing my phone number via the Visible app allowed me to successfully place a new order, for which I just received shipment confirmation.
