The GV will initially show ok but then not go through.
People have been using $5 Visible lines ($25 - $20 referral code for first month).

Yes, it will show Verizon. You need phone number, account number, port-out PIN and ZIP. Text FOUR to 611611 and the four digits should match the last four of your phone IMEI/Account number (15-digit). The ZIP code is the one you entered when you activated the phone (for a new number, or you can check it by logging into your account on a browser). Text NTP when you're ready to buy iP13/port-out to get your 4-digit PIN.

Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before I can buy through Metro again? I bought a similar deal last fall (for the iPhone 12), then just didn't renew the monthly plan.

EDIT: I guess Metro doesn't have much of a time limit between when letting your account expire and placing new orders because I just placed an order for this ip13 and it's only been about 3-4 months since I let my previous metro plan expire. Also, I placed the order just minutes after creating a visible account and porting that new visible number over to metro.

Either you haven't activate your first line on the website or you have a failed order with the port in still in progress.

I made sure it's activated and it should be ported in as I am able to receive OTP code when logging in to metro website.

Someone said the terms of deal change tomorrow requiring 12 months of service; so today is the last day to order if I'm going to cancel service right away? I'm porting out of Xfinity mobile to get this deal and then porting back into Xfinity mobile the next day and I will get the Xfinity mobile $100 bring your own device credit. Does anyone will know will I lose all my Xfinity mobile voicemails?
Nobody said that. They said for the iPhone 16e it's service credits, and that starts on Feb 28, not tomorrow.

Anyone have experience porting from Tracfone? I've been trying for weeks. Got the port number and it will get to the end and then not work. Then I have to call and get them to cancel the port. Today I tried calling and having them place the order. Went through to the end and then wouldn't allow them to complete it.

The order always fails at the final step. It says to contact a metro store - "we value your security etc".
The number transfer is successful and I do get a note from my existing provider. But the order doesn't go through. I did try different credit cards etc, but didn't help at all.
I have only ordered one phone from Metro. Any clue on what I can do to fix this? The phone customer service is no help as well.
I get the same issue. Trying to port from Tracfone. On the phone that has the line, I get a text saying that they got the port out request and if it is correct, do nothing and it will complete. But on the Metro side, they can't complete.

There are a variety of things that could be the problem. You're going to get a few different answers when you ask here, or when you ask Metro customer service. At the very least, once you try the first time, you could have a stuck port request for the second line. If that doesn't fix it, you might be up a creek. They might have flagged your credit card, address, ip address, name, or something else. It's a guessing game trying to figure it out, and you might try 10 more times with no success. No one truly fully understands how their system flags people, including Metro customer service (IMO).

In short: call Metro and tell them you tried to add a line and couldn't, and you think there might be a failed port request that is stuck. They'll clear it, and tell you it'll take 4-24 hrs to clear. Try once more with a different billing method or address. If that doesn't fix, you might be wasting your time.

Could be wrong but last time I did these shenanigans, system would not allow another line until the in process line is activated. Try again after you activate the 2nd line.
Agree - try after getting the second phone.

How's the experience in store? It seems like there might be an additional $25 charge, but I'm hoping to add a new line for $35. Online, I'm running into "payment issues" when I create a new account or add a new line, even though my card works fine.
In store, it cost $151 in total to walk out with a new phone. They tacked on $62 in taxes on the phone, a $38 adapter (45W GaN), and $51 for the additional line (seems to include the plan cost, store activation fees, and apparently some insurance/protection but the receipt doesn't say what).

So can we get on the $20 Samsung tablet after activating the line? And for that one we just pay the first month tablet service and not renew and get to keep tablet for only $20?

I got my shipping email from this deal from Metro. On Metro site tracking page it gives me the option to activate my on route phone. Do I need to click activate in order to order second line for $35 or do I need to wait until my phone arrives?
How long did it take for them to ship after you placed the order? I ordered mine last night and haven't received shipment email yet.
