EDIT: I guess Metro doesn't have much of a time limit between when letting your account expire and placing new orders because I just placed an order for this ip13 and it's only been about 3-4 months since I let my previous metro plan expire. Also, I placed the order just minutes after creating a visible account and porting that new visible number over to metro.

Did you use the same metro login details that you used 3-4 months ago to order ip13?
Which network does textnow run on? If it's T-Mobile, probably not. Tello doesn't work for the discount and it runs on T-Mobile.
If you have a textnow number, why don't you try starting an order and seeing what the phone discount comes to, and then report back and let all of us know? Particularly if it beats Visible's $5 cost (with referral code) for a new line...that would make this deal even slicker than it is already.
