Briefly: Stay Away!
Two months of hell. The quality of the certified renewed is excellent. Your getting a new screen, new battery, new modem, whatever it needs. Only original factory parts are used unlike other dealers. Looks and works like a new phone with full I year warranty and a new ESN.
BUT stuff happens and mine had a software installation issue. I had to send it back and that's were rotating circus of mega hassles hassl began dealing with the overseas call center. I had to pay a second time and wait for a refund on the return. They charged $180 more with a written promise to credit me back the overcharge to match the original sales price. Liars. There written assurance means nothing. Don't fall for that scam.
It was hell dealing with them for two months. They promised an extra $50 for "the inconvenience" Liars. Then they refused to transfer over my trade-in credit to the replaced phone. Billed me another $300. I ended up doing a bank dispute. Miserable time-wasting experience, Don't believe anything Samsung.com tells you. Even with assurances obtained in writing their word means nothing. Hours and hours and hours on the phone,. Moving to Pixel done with Samsung forever. end edit.

Factory certified renewed with a new battery and one year factory warranty with option for samcare is what sold me. If you can get a better deal w/o a cell contract then I'd like to know where. Price is less than the used market w used battery no warranty.
Purchased today the S23 Ultra 256 GB $538 + tax. The S21 5G 128 GB is less than 1/5th that for me after CB site.
Sales tax charged for California is 20% or $66.23 for the $379 sale price of the S22+ because the sales tax is calculated using the before trade-in price. Sales tax charged on the $588 S23Ultra was $86.
Support considerations: Current guarantee of major OS upgrades and security patches, years left: 3yr for S23, 2yr for S22 and 1yr for S21.
S21 just completed 4 yr cycle of monthly OS updates and has one year left of quarterly updates ending Jan 2026 Should receive One UI 7.

Spectrum does not offer 3 hour phone calls to a Philippines call center to add a Galaxy S24 FE phantom phone to your account even if you refuse delivery.
Spectrum does not have Platinum Rewards where you get the above free locking service and free phantom phone together for an extra $27/month for 24 months ( times two or $54/month ) in convenient monthly payment with $1,300 early payoff privilege.
Spectrum expects you to sign for phone whereas Xfinity will bill you for it without the burden of accepting delivery.
Spectrum doesn't have the Platinum Reward of cramming $45>$55 per month for signal-free service. In fact Spectrum won't sell you a plan at all at a signal-free billing address whereas Xfinity will bill you for cell service even if you only have wi-fi at your signal-free address.
Spectrum won't hound you for weeks on end and threaten you with collections for refusing delivery on the Planium Rewards $650 S24 phone deal for a $500 phone or refuse to unlock your BYOD phone until you file an FCC complaint.
Where is the comparison with not a single one of these Xfinity Platinum Rewards? Today I got 30 phone calls and texts from Xfinity corporate who began calling at 8 am "to discuss my FCC complaint" after I told them to stop. Where is that kind of Platinum Rewards Customer Care from Spectrum? They don't have it, no one but Xfinity does.
